Bilfen Antalya High Schools Support "Leyla’dan Sonra" Association

Leyla’dan Sonra is an association founded in 2014 by medical students to realize the dreams of children with chronic diseases and make them happy. The students studying at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine met 3-year-old Leyla, who was undergoing cancer treatment in the oncology ward, and Leyla's death before she could get the bicycle she dreamed of inspired the establishment of the association. Leyla's story, which gave the association its name, became hope for other children with chronic diseases.

 

Students who are volunteers of the movement regularly visit the pediatric wards of hospitals, play games with the children being treated in these wards so that they can get away from the hospital environment and have a better time, and make their dreams come true.

 

As Bilfen Antalya High Schools, we wanted to show that we are with them for the 8th year by collecting play dough, puzzles, crayons, coloring books, coloring books, board games and toys for the children in the oncology service, which we have been supporting regularly for 7 years. Biology club student representatives took the items collected at school to Akdeniz University on Thursday, June 15, 2023 and delivered them to Leyla ’dan Sonra association representatives.
