PRIVATE BURSA BİLFEN ANATOLIAN AND SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL – TÜBİTAK ART PROJECT VISIT

BİLFEN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS EXPLORE A TÜBİTAK-SUPPORTED ART PROJECT ON SITE

As part of the Visual Arts course at Bilfen High School, our students participated as visitors in the TÜBİTAK 2209-A program for the 2024–2025 period, within the scope of the project titled “Teaching the Experimental Eco-Printing Technique as an Alternative Workshop Practice in the Education of Pre-Service Visual Arts Teachers.”

The project completed its application process during the 2024–2025 period, received approval, and was implemented as of 2025. Within this framework, our students visited the workshop and exhibition spaces held in a university setting, where they gained technical and practical knowledge about the experimental eco-printing technique, the use of natural dyes and plant-based materials, and the sustainable art education approach.

During the event, where works produced throughout the workshop process were presented to the audience as part of an exhibition, students had the opportunity to observe firsthand the relationship between art, nature, production, and sustainability, while also directly experiencing an academic project process.
