PRIVATE BURSA BILFEN SCIENCE AND ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL – SOCIAL SCIENCES DEPARTMENT VISIT TO THE AFAD TRAINING CENTER

On October 13, 2025, the 10th-grade students of Private Bursa Bilfen Science and Anatolian High School participated in a trip to the AFAD Training Center, organized by the geography department as part of the “International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction.”

During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn about the causes of natural disasters and the methods of disaster prevention. They also participated in disaster simulations, which allowed them to safely experience different types of disasters and strengthen their disaster awareness.

Throughout the event, students gained practical knowledge about the disaster risks in Turkey, precautionary measures, and appropriate responses during emergencies.

This meaningful activity aimed to enhance students’ awareness of disaster preparedness and social responsibility.
