Private İzmir Bilfen Science High School 9th Grade Student Tuğra Canbaz's project in the field of TeknoFest Agricultural Technologies passed the preliminary evaluation. Factors such as unconscious agricultural spraying, fertilization, and excessive use of chemicals in order to meet the need, together with the rapidly increasing population in our country, cause an increase in greenhouse gases and climate change. The decrease in the use of agricultural lands and the increase in fertilizer prices are among the problems in our country. In addition to the problem of growing quality agricultural products combined with the effects of population growth, climate changes and global warming, the pursuit of producing higher quality products with lower costs has brought along the necessity of using the possibilities of technology in order to overcome the problems in the agricultural sector. With the microfluidic technology he designed, our student offers a great solution to the field of agriculture, which is one of the biggest problems in the world and in our country. The chip, which can be used in soil / soilless agriculture, differs from other methods due to its ease of use, variety of designs, low cost and reusability.
