TURKISH SCIENTIST WHO FOUND A LABORATORY AT MIT

Private Izmir Bilfen students had the opportunity to listen to Assoc. Dr. Ömer Yılmaz’s education and working life, which he calls "a long but beautiful road" in his own words.

Having started his education in 2008 in the Department of Pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), the head hospital of Harvard Medical School, and continued his cancer research in the laboratory he established in his own name at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Koch Institute in 2014, Ömer Yılmaz aroused great excitement in our students.

Our conversation, moderated by Zeynep Ece Bozkaya, one of our Science High Class 11 A students, was watched with great interest. Our organization was a study of the Biology Department of Private Izmir Bilfen High Schools for career planning and increasing student motivation.
