Private Bilfen Çayyolu High Schools - Bilfen Students at the Heart of TÜRKSAT-6A

On December 1, 2023, the Private Bilfen Çayyolu High School's Amateur Radio and Space Technologies Club, along with the Physics Department, organized a visit to TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace and Space Industry), where Turkey's first national communication satellite, TÜRKSAT-6A, is being developed. During this visit, our students had the opportunity to see the facility where TÜRKSAT-6A, scheduled to be launched into space in June 2024, was manufactured and tested. They eagerly listened to experts explaining the tests the satellite undergoes before its launch, how those tests are conducted, and the purposes behind each testing phase.
