PRİVATE BİLFEN ÇAYYOLU HİGH SCHOOLS –THE BEESWAX MIRACLE AT THE TÜBİTAK REGIONAL EXHIBITION

 

Students Kavin Melek Arıkan and Gökçe Yılmaz from Bilfen Çayyolu Science High School have qualified to participate in the 55th TÜBİTAK High School Students Research Projects Competition regional exhibition with their prepared project.

 

The project developed by our students offers a solution to single-use plastic packaging waste commonly used in daily life. Particularly addressing the adverse effects of the frequent use of various plastic materials such as stretch films on human health and presenting an alternative method against plastic waste, they have incorporated a natural substance like "Beeswax" in their project. Their methods carry qualities that can be developed, being both effective in environmental waste control and having low cost and practical usability.
