The Success of Izmir Bilfen High Schools in Belarusian Philosophy Olympiad

There were 450 applications from different countries for the Belarusian Philosophy Olympiad, where applications were made in two categories, English and Russian, on October 3, 2023. The competition consists of essay writing and oral presentation. Tuğra CANBAZ, our 11th grade student at Private Izmir Bilfen Science High School, won the right to participate in the competition. In the competition, the first phase of which was held as online composition writing on November 1, 2023, our students were given four quotes in English / Russian and they wrote their articles that provided philosophical justification for the quote they chose. In the results announced on December 4, 2023, Tuğra CANBAZ ranked 6th in the top 12 and qualified

for the second stage. The first 12 people will attend the video conference on the week of December 13 as the second stage of the competition.
