BARIŞ MANÇO COMMEMORATED AT BILFEN ÇAYYOLU HIGH SCHOOLS WITH A PERFORMANCE BY THE CREATIVE DRAMA CLUB

 

A special performance titled "Sakız Hanım ile Mahur Bey", organized by the students of the Bilfen Çayyolu High Schools Creative Drama Club, was held in memory of our beloved artist Barış Manço. The event was honored by the presence of Barış Manço’s wife, Lale Manço Ahıskalı, his sister, İnci Manço İlbay and representatives of the Izmanço platform.

The play, written in tribute to Barış Manço, stood out as the first of its kind to be created in this format in Turkey. As the product of a long and devoted preparation process, the performance brought together “Barış lovers” and received great acclaim from the audience.

In the show, where the creative drama students expressed their love and respect for their dear "Brother Barış," the audience enjoyed a feast of music and dance. With their impressive acting skills, the students touched the hearts of everyone in the hall, declaring, "Brother Barış, tonight we are on stage for you!" evoking both smiles and emotional moments among the audience.
