A SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECT: “MAKE HAPPY, BE HAPPY!”
“We Shared Not Just a Day, But a Sense of Hope.”

The social responsibility project “Make Happy, Be Happy!” was initiated by the 10A class students of Bilfen Çayyolu Anatolian High School with the dream of giving children affected by the earthquake in Hatay a joyful day filled with activities. This heartfelt initiative soon turned into a school-wide campaign embraced by all high school students.

Through charity sales organized by students at every grade level, funds were raised to meet the stationery, clothing, and hygiene needs of a kindergarten and primary school in Hatay. Our campaign was further supported by the contributions of İskenderun Bilfen and Bahçeşehir Bilfen schools.

Our students volunteered to travel to Hatay, and this project became more than just material aid. Bilfen students and teachers created a memorable day for the students in Hatay—one filled with joy, learning, and connection.

The children in Hatay not only had fun and learned new things, but more importantly, they experienced the true value of love, solidarity, sharing, empathy, and social unity. In doing so, they found happiness—and so did we.
