A LİVİNG HİSTORY: CAPPADOCİA

At Bilfen Çayyolu High School, the "Land of Beautiful Horses: Cappadocia" trip, organized for 11th-grade students, was successfully planned on October 18, 2023.

Through this trip, students explored how the geographical formations and fertile agricultural lands were created due to volcanic eruptions from Melendiz, Erciyes, and Hasan mountains. The landforms shaped by extrusive rocks and external forces were examined.

They also learned about the products and impacts of the rich cultural mosaic developed by the people of the Cappadocia region since ancient times. In line with the history course objectives, museums and historical sites were visited.
