A Land Where History Lives: Cappadocia

On October 18, 2025, Private Bilfen Çayyolu High School organized the “Land of Beautiful Horses – Cappadocia” trip for 11th-grade students as planned.

During the trip, students explored how the unique geological structure and fertile lands of the region were formed as a result of volcanic eruptions from Mount Melendiz, Mount Erciyes, and Mount Hasan. They also examined the landforms shaped by external forces acting on volcanic rocks.

In addition to its fascinating geography, students learned about the rich cultural mosaic and historical heritage developed by the people of Cappadocia since ancient times.

Within the scope of both history and geography learning objectives, students visited various museums and historical sites, gaining firsthand insight into the natural and cultural wonders of this extraordinary region.
