AFAD Officials Provided Disaster Awareness Training to Our Students

On November 17, 2025, as part of World Philosophy Day, Özel Bilfen Çayyolu High Schools held an educational activity in our conference hall with officials from the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) to raise disaster awareness and prepare our students for possible emergencies.

The training covered topics such as the correct behaviors to adopt during an earthquake, safe movement methods to follow after a disaster, principles for preparing an emergency kit, and basic disaster awareness in detail. This program, which aimed to raise our students' awareness, was supported by practical explanations and visual presentations.

AFAD officials emphasized the importance of being prepared for disasters and stressed that having accurate and up-to-date information is a critical requirement. Our students, who actively participated in the training process, had the opportunity to learn about topics they were curious about by asking questions.

Our school administration expressed its gratitude to AFAD personnel for this valuable training and stated that similar activities on disaster awareness and safety will be held regularly for our students.
