Bilfen Bahçeşehir High Schools at the Oxford–Cambridge Debate Competition

     Our students Atila Yasin ÖZER from Class 10/B and Altay ÜNAL from Class 11/B of Özel Bilfen Bahçeşehir Science High School participated in the Oxford–Cambridge Debate Competition held at Acıbadem University on 29–30 November 2025.The Oxford Prestige Debate aims to contribute to the long-term intellectual and communicative development of participants within an English-medium educational community. Before participating in the competition, our students received training from a team of expert debaters in order to learn British Parliamentary Style debate techniques and to prepare for the event.By attending the training sessions held on specific dates and at regular intervals, our students learned many debate techniques over a total of six webinars. After the training, they became fully prepared for the competition through a mock debate session. Throughout the competition, they put in great effort and successfully advanced to the quarterfinals.
