Bilfen Çayyolu Anatolian and Science High School students are preparing to conduct joint R&D projects with Stanford University on the health technologies of the future. During their visit to Silicon Valley and Stanford University, the students’ knowledge and skills caught the attention of university doctors and scientists, leading to an official collaboration. The students will present their projects on 10 different health-related topics at Stanford University in the spring; selected projects will then be presented to administrators in the U.S. for evaluation. The students behind the successful projects will also have the opportunity to complete a summer internship at Stanford University.
During a workshop held at Bilfen Çayyolu High School, the students’ projects were reviewed and information was shared about the Stanford University internship program, its structure, and opportunities. School Principal Canan Özdemir highlighted the importance of such projects for all students.
