Mole Day At Bilfen Bahçeşehir High Schools

     The theme of this year’s Mole Day, celebrated annually around the world with a different concept each time, was inspired by the film Jurassic Park and titled “Moleassic Park.”At Bahçeşehir Bilfen High Schools, we celebrated the 2025–2026 Mole Day with a “Jurassic Park Mole Fest” event held in our school garden, with the participation of our 9th and 10th grade students.The event featured demonstration experiments, a “Mole Dart” game, a mini concert performed by our school orchestra, and mole-themed cookies, snacks, and beverages prepared by our students.The purpose of this event was to emphasize the scientific significance of October 23rd, Mole Day, to raise awareness of Avogadro’s number (6.02 × 10²³), and to help students reinforce their understanding of this concept in chemistry lessons.
