The purpose of Avogadro Day is to encourage people's interest in chemistry and to inform them about interesting facts surrounding the mole. October 23rd is celebrated as MOLE DAY to raise awareness of Avogadro's number, 6.02.1023, and to help them memorize this number, used in chemistry classes. Mole Day has been celebrated annually around the world since 1991, and this year's theme is "Moleassic Park," inspired by the movie "Jurassic Park." On this day, an inter-grade quiz on mole-related topics was held at our school with the participation of 11th grade students, and a fun drama presentation was given by 10th grade students.
