Private Bilfen Çayyolu High Schools - Nutrient Determination Experiment
"In their 9th-grade biology class, students from Anatolian and Science High School once again engaged in learning through experiments. In the nutrition analysis experiment, they conducted "Carbohydrate Determination" using potatoes, bread, wheat starch, and apples; "Protein Determination" using egg white and raw milk; and "Fat Determination" using walnut kernels, hazelnuts, and milk. They observed and recorded the color changes occurring in the substances throughout the process. Through this experiment, they not only learned which nutrients were present in high concentrations but also identified the indicators for each type of nutrient. As a result of the nutrition analysis experiment, the topics of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats were revisited, ensuring lasting comprehension."
