Partners in Language

Bilfen's Partners in Language courses, which offer a multifaceted approach to foreign language education, integrate second foreign language learning with English, providing students with a rich and multilingual learning experience. This approach aims to foster in-depth understanding, heightened awareness, and lasting learning by connecting the content covered in English, German, and French courses.

Partners in Language courses are implemented in all grades from 4th to 7th and create bilingual or trilingual learning environments structured around common themes, concepts, and vocabulary patterns with the English department. Vocabulary, phrases, and topics are selected based on students' English language proficiency and revisited in the second foreign language; thus, supporting skills in making connections, comparisons, and multilingual thinking between languages.

Through these courses, students not only learn a new language but also deepen their learning processes by recognizing the relationships between different languages, develop a natural awareness of cultural diversity, and take a strong step towards becoming multilingual individuals in a global world.
