MATHEMATICS CLUB FOR THE 6TH GRADE
Our prioritized goal for the students who select our Mathematics Club at the 6th grade is to create a suitable and enjoyable environment where they learn Mathematics with the use of its universal language. With the club exercises, the relationship of Mathematics with logic, strategy development and problem solving skill is consolidated. Within this context, mathematics, logical games and the activities which develop abstract thinking are carried out in a planned manner during the club hours. "Make'n Break" game which develops abstract and geometric thinking, "Tell-Draw" activity which enhances mathematical communication skill and "Go" or "Mangala" game which improves strategical thinking skill are some examples of our club activities. The "Mathematics Theatre" is just one of our important club activities as well which allows our students to combine their theatrical skills with mathematics and perform a play. Our students not only have fun but also are engaged in various activities that develop their mathematical skills during Mathematics Club hours.
TUBITAK'S MATHEMATICS CLUB FOR THE 7TH GRADE
We are preparing our students at the 7th grade who select "Mathematics TUBITAK" Club for the exams and activities approved by the Ministry of National Education throughout the year. Within this context, our students are involved in lectures and question solving activities in the preparation process. Beyond this preparation process, we benefit from several Mathematics and logic activities in order to support the problem solving and strategy development skills our students who select our TUBITAK Club. Starting in Mathematics TUBIKAK Club of Bilfen Secondary School, this process continues at the high school level and underlies the successes of our students to be earned in Mathematic competitions, projects and activities.
