Enrichment Junior English Program

The Enrichment Junior English Program is a continuation of the Side by Side English Program implemented in grades 1 and 2, and is structured in accordance with the fundamental principles of the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach.

In grades 1 and 2, students focus on developing oral and written literacy in their native language, along with listening/watching comprehension and speaking/narrating skills, while in grades 3 and 4, the systematic development of English reading comprehension and writing/narrating skills is targeted. This tiered structure supports students' language development in a natural and sustainable process.

The main aim of the program is not only to enable students to acquire language proficiency, but also to ensure that they acquire the necessary skills, attitudes, and values ​​to become active and contributing individuals in a changing and transforming society, supporting their personal development. In line with this vision, special emphasis is placed on creating a learning environment that strengthens collaboration among students, parents, and teachers.

In accordance with the principles of the Communicative Learning Method, the program; It prioritizes meaningful interactions, authentic communication, and student-centered tasks that encourage students to use the language effectively in real-life contexts. This approach supports students in using English confidently, while also strengthening the development of fluency and self-confidence.
