YOU-NIQUE TALK (3RD GRADE)

At Bilfen, one of the fundamental goals of the foreign language teaching program is for students to be able to express their thoughts and feelings not only in their native language but also in English. In line with this, the development of speaking skills is systematically monitored at the 3rd grade level using the You-nique Talk application. Unlike the Speak Up video activities used in grades 1 and 2, You-nique Talk is a structured application that aims to observe students' individual expression skills in more depth.

In You-nique Talk recordings, 3rd grade students discuss the topics covered in their English lessons with their English teachers in a one-on-one conversational setting. During this process, students share their thoughts and feelings on the topic, talk about their hobbies and interests, express their strengths, and have the opportunity to describe the unique and distinctive qualities that make them special. They also reflect the gains they have acquired in Individual Progress Time (IPT) activities in these discussions.

The You-nique Talk application supports students in using English in a natural and safe environment, while offering a significant learning experience that strengthens their self-confidence, self-expression skills, and communicative competence.
