SPEAK UP
Speak Up videos are a structured application that makes visible the development of students' listening, comprehension, and speaking skills throughout the year. This project is based on a dialogue process that progresses through questions guided by native English-speaking teachers, entirely based on natural conversation.
The main goal of the Speak Up application is to support students in using English in a comfortable and safe environment; and in expressing their thoughts fluently by structuring them in English. In this process, students use language not only to respond, but also to think, understand, and communicate.
Thanks to Speak Up videos, students' ability to use English as a natural means of communication, their English thinking competencies, and their level of expressing subject matter such as science and life skills in an English context are observed in a multifaceted way. This application makes a significant contribution to monitoring students' development processes and evaluating the effectiveness of the work carried out.
