Bilfen Coding My Game Competition
Organized among 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grade Bilfen students every year under a different theme, Bilfen Coding My Game Competition aims to use students' imagination, creativity and critical thinking skills in an interdisciplinary approach together with the design and coding knowledge and skills they have acquired in Information Technologies and IPT courses. Students who learn to look at their surroundings carefully and curiously in daily life, identify the problem in the given theme and explain their solution suggestions with the games they develop on the Scracth 3.0 coding platform can participate in this competition individually or in groups of up to 4 people. In the final competition organized in May with the valuable participation of expert jury members according to the theme of the competition, the awards given in two separate categories, grades 4-5 and grades 6-7, are as follows.
Best Code Award: Awarded to the project built with advanced coding skills.
Best Design Award: Awarded to the project that is designed with intermediate coding skills and draws attention with its original design as an interface.
Best Scenario Award: Awarded to the project that can be improved in terms of coding and design, but has a high-level, original and remarkable story in terms of idea and fiction.
The theme of Bilfen Coding My Game 2024 Contest this year is "Climate Crisis". The applications for the competition, which will be held with the slogan "Save Your Planet, Save Your Future!", will continue until March 31, 2024.

Bilfen Tech MeetUp Seminars
We regularly bring together many valuable field experts working in corporate and academia who bring together information technologies with different disciplines such as artificial intelligence, innovation, STEAM, robotics, entrepreneurship, and design with our students at Bilfen Tech MeetUp seminars. In these seminars, which are organized in different schools throughout the year starting from December every year, our students have the opportunity to get to know the current and future application areas of technology more closely beyond the knowledge and skills they have acquired in information technology courses and technology individual development hours. While our students witness success stories in seminars, they also share the research topics that trigger their curiosity, the projects they have developed and their successes in their own learning journeys.

Computer Science Education Week
Bilfen Primary/Secondary Schools organize activities that draw attention to how students should prepare for the future in the age of artificial intelligence during the "Computer Science Education Week", where simultaneous activities are held all over the world in the first week of December every year. In this context, the importance of developing knowledge and skills such as collaborative work, analytical thinking, active learning, curiosity, creativity, ethics and value knowledge that students should have no matter which profession they choose in the future is emphasized. During this week, in addition to the Bilfen Tech MeetUp seminars, the student projects exhibition, which is held with the participation of students from all levels, takes place in a festive atmosphere. In this exhibition, the projects created by the students during the information technologies and technology individual development hours are exhibited and the power of imagination and the importance of coding and design are emphasized in the future.
