IPT FOR THE 5TH GRADES
The purpose of the program to be applied at the 5th grade for IPT studies in Mathematics is not to teach but to make students realize their Mathematical process skills and develop these skills accordingly.
These process skills refer to the ways and methods used by scientists in accessing to and processing information. Based on the program prepared by us, we target the acquisition and development of our students' skills in asking questions, making observations, classification, design, association, analysis, problem solving and conclusion.
Long term purpose of IPT studies in Mathematics is to maximize the potentials of our students in the field of Mathematics, build a Mathematical philosophy for them and offer an individual point of view to them.
