CERN

Students participating in Bilfen’s annually expanding CERN Project visited Mr Cenk Yıldız, one of the Turkish researchers at CERN and a graduate of Bilfen Üsküdar Science High School. The trip, which was organised as part of the students’ particle physics studies enabled them to see the largest physics laboratory in the world and have conversations with the scientists working there. The students continued their trip in CERN with the Globe and Microcosm and asked their questions to Mr. Yıldız who accompanied them.

The students who also visited the sites of Geneva, Lausanne and Montreux related Turkish and Swiss history, thus adding to their cultural knowledge, too.
