MATHEMATICS FOR THE 4th GRADES

The Instructional Mathematics Program for the 4th grade contains such activities that place students at the centre, allow conceptual understanding and are enriched with tangible materials. Any applications which highlight learning styles of students are regarded in consideration of their individual differences. 

A dynamic teaching program with a focus on special needs of students is applied for the 4th grades. Various assessments are made during the school year in order to maximize the potentials of students. 

The sense of self-confidence in and development of positive attitudes towards mathematics is very effective on mathematical success. Supportive mathematical games for effective learning are included in our courses in connection with the contents of units. Station activities are carried out in mathematics laboratories with our own materials. 

Mathematics courses are taught by specialist branch teachers in the 4th grades. In this way, our students can accommodate themselves to the secondary school in a shorter period of time.
