PHILOSOPHY
Our Activities:
- Comprehension and repetition tests are regularly applied.
- TThe subjects in which students have difficulty are identified with the help of TYT-AYT (Underlying Proficiency Test-Major Area Proficiency Test) trials and these subjects are tried to be consolidated through different methods.
- The courses are taught by associating philosophy with daily life.
Our Objectives:
Our objectives in philosophy courses are that students can:
- Acquire a holistic philosophical point of view and gain the habit of using this point of view in their daily lives,
- Become skilful at systematic thinking,
- Develop a holistic questioning attitude in order to understand themselves and the universe, become skilful in assessing the subjects with a sophisticated perspective,
- Notice the meaning of values in terms of human beings and develop the attitude of evaluating both ethical and aesthetic values in national and global terms,
- Understand what philosophy is and become skilful at philosophical questioning
- Become knowledgeable about the area and basic problems of philosophy,
- Associate philosophy with life.
