History

Our Studies:
  • Visual materials are included in information transfer processes in the courses.
  • TYT-AYT (Underlying Proficiency Test-Major Area Proficiency Test) trials are delivered and unclear subjects are identified and additional exercises are made with students who are found to have deficiencies in knowledge and studying habits.
  • If required, extra homework is given to students from question banks and they are asked to participate in study times. In this way, students can be personally monitored.
  • Research homework is given to students and they are upskilled in using and evaluating historic data.
  • Success in TYT-AYT (Underlying Proficiency Test-Major Area Proficiency Test) is our main goal and we further aim at bringing up students in such a manner that they:
  • Are aware of their responsibilities,
  • Adopt the Kemalist view,
  • Look out for the interests of the country rather than their personal interests

Our objectives are to:
  • Bring up students who are enlightened with Atatürk's principles and reforms, loyal to their country and values of civilization and comprehend the importance of national unity and solidarity,
  • Develop the ability to think by questioning,
  • Educate students so that they can appreciate differences, are academically well-equipped, protect the future of their country by following the developments in the world and have an improved sense of responsibility,
  • Provide such a training that is aware of the fact that memorization is a burden of knowledge and thus avoids it, generates ideas by making students interpreting various phenomena and makes what has been learnt permanent,
  • Ensure that students prioritize creativity in the development of their skills in studying and learning, problem solving and decision making, working with a group and citizenship,
  • Facilitate the recognition and perception of the environment and world by students and make them comprehend the relationship of history-environment-culture,
  • Ensure that present day and modern life is perceived on the basis of the past by interpreting and re-synthesising the past and contribute to shape the future by building a bridge between the past and present,
  • Bring up the youth so that they can examine the developments in the globalizing world in all aspects and comprehend the importance of Turkey in the 21st century.
